As long as I can remember I’ve been an allergic person. Based on experience and self analysis, I somehow know my allergy gets triggered with dust, weather changes, when I stay or enter an old room, it’s automatic, i’ll start sneezing like there’s no tomorrow.

There will be days when pets will trigger my allergies too; at times I’ll blame the scented candles my sister started using. In the end, I really don’t know the cause… so as much as I can, I stay away from these “experiential” triggers. Are you in the same boat?

According to CAAM – FABER is an in vitro test for the measurement of specific IgE from human serum or plasma. In my understanding, the procedure tests your blood against an array of allergens and records its reaction to it.

After a quick blood extraction, here is my summarized result:

My blood has been tested against 200+ allergens, including fruits, pollen, venom, seed, egg, larva and many more tissue types that can trigger allergies. And the FABER test just confirmed that I have indeed allergies with certain types of Dust and House Mites, Yikes!

More than that, after a consultation with an expert in LifeScience, I also found out that certain flour (old flour) may contain mites that can trigger my allergies even when cooked.
