Every year, at 8:30 pm on the last Saturday of March, millions of people across the world show their support for our planet, raising awareness of nature loss and climate change – the two biggest threats facing our one home. But Earth Hour is more than just an Hour for the planet – it’s a movement for our future.

Over the years, you’ve switched off your lights at home, turning entire streets, buildings, and city skylines dark – an unmissable sight that drew public attention to nature loss and the climate crisis. This year, we invite you to spread the same message and recreate the same unmissable sight online by taking part in WWF-Philippines’ very first Earth Hour Virtual Run 2022.

This year’s virtual run will happen from March 26 to April 22, 2022. This is open to all professional and aspiring runners and even pets all over the world! Registration starts on February 2 until April 9, 2022. Registration options are as follow:

– Choose and Register on a Virtual Race
– Use a GPS-tracking running app, watch or treadmill
– Track and Finish the Race
– Take a photo of your result
– Submit your Run

Rules:
– “No completion, no reward” policy; This race is based on honour system, periodic checks will be done on the submissions.
– All GPS-based App and Treadmill Submissions are allowed.
